Title: Toshiba laptops?

So my laptop is fried, and I need a new one to run my Pico 3223.

Things I know, I need 2 gig Ram and at least 1 Ghz to run the pico on Vista.

What I would like to know is, which laptop brands are battle tested in the field? I've heard good things about Toshiba and Bestbuy has a promo on right now, you bring in a broken laptop and get 100 dollars off a new toshiba laptop. I'm leaning towards that route but would like to get some real world advice from you guys.

The Toshiba I have now is still working...amazingly enough :o
